Dealing with Risk
All changes and projects involve risks – both to the project and the host organisation. Therefore, although risk management is a fundamental skill for a project manager it is one that is not often used in the wider business community.
The key to success in this area is identifying the risks that have the most potential to disrupt the planned journey and then putting strategies in place to deal with them.
How do we do this?
Workshops and small group working are the best way to help people to identify the key risks to the organisation and the proposed journey.
Once identified, the risks will be analysed, prioritised and the appropriate plans, actions and resources put in place to minimise their potential impact.
